Title: Head Actuarial Risk Modeler

Location: Remote

Our client, a leading global insurer, is seeking a senior-level candidate to join their expanding Cyber team and focus on Actuarial Risk Modeling. In this role, you will leverage advanced Cyber models and analytics to support risk management and underwriting, develop and validate risk models, and conduct research on cyber and accumulation risks. The ideal candidate will hold ACAS or FCAS credentials and have expertise in Cyber Risk Modeling, Actuarial, or Catastrophe Modeling and Analytics, with a proven track record in developing and validating risk models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the actuarial risk modeling team.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain complex actuarial models.
  • Validate models to ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
  • Analyze data to identify and quantify risks.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate risk models into the risk management framework.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations on risk mitigation.
