The Role:
Play a pivotal role in driving the firm's growth and nurturing its relationships with sophisticated institutional investors. Working closely with the leadership team, you will:
- Develop and execute strategies to identify and attract new investors, with a focus on institutional clients.
- Maintain and deepen relationships with existing investors, ensuring transparent communication and exceptional client service.
- Articulate the firm's unique investment strategy, performance, and value proposition effectively to prospective and existing clients.
- Contribute to the preparation of high-quality marketing materials, investor updates, and presentations.
- Act as a trusted representative of the firm at industry conferences, meetings, and events.
Key Requirements:
- 4-6 years of experience in a business development, sales, or investor relations role within the hedge fund or broader alternative investments industry.
- A deep understanding of hedge fund strategies, particularly long/short equity or market-neutral approaches.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and confidently.
- A proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with institutional investors.
- A self-starter with a strategic mindset and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
