A leading crypto compliance solutions provider is looking to hire an APAC Senior Advisor for Policy and Industry Affairs to grow their business in the APAC region through engagement with regulators, financial institutions, and industry associations. The individual will work closely with team members in Sales & Marketing to establish the business business as a crypto compliance leader through relationship development with key regulators and industry stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Lead engagements with regulators and other government agencies across the APAC region
- Shape regional policy agenda and response to regulatory developments across the APAC region
- Engage with enterprise customers and prospects to aid understanding of the changing APAC regulatory landscape
- Work closely with Marketing team to develop compelling thought leadership in various formats (reports, blogs, webinars, roundtables etc.) on topics related to crypto regulation and compliance in APAC
- Deliver presentations on work and research, and act as an ambassador at events, panels, and other fora
- Represent business as a subject matter expert in press engagements related to regulatory developments across APAC
- Work with the Product team to ensure business remains the leading solutions for compliance with regulations across APAC
Requirements:
- 10+ years working in AML, sanctions, and related financial crime topics
- Deep understanding of the crypto regulation and compliance
- Worked in compliance in a crypto business or FI and/or worked for a regulator in the APAC region
- Experience engaging with regulators across the APAC region
- Confidence engaging senior stakeholders (e.g. senior regulators, chief compliance officers)
- Based in Singapore
- Regional language skills (esp. Chinese, Korean, or Japanese) are a major bonus
