A leading international investment bank is looking to make a hire essential to their Planning and Stress Testing function, to cover Processing Model Execution. This person will be a key member in financial planning and stress testing activities, as this team is responsible for providing model execution and analyzing results to assess model capabilities in planning and stress testing. This is a team that works on deliverables across numerous functions within the bank including Quantitative Analytics, Front Office, Risk and Treasury offering exposure to all of these groups and their workflows. This position is located in New York.
Key Responsibilities:
Working on deliverables for stress testing activities across numerous teams
Estimate projected revenues, losses, reserves
Participating in effective governance
Creating effective challenge framework
Assist in the projection model development process and participate in the assessment of model methodology and documentation
Working closely with the business, Product Control and the modeling team to develop, assess and challenge the assumptions used in forecasting
Coordinate data aggregation within various infrastructure areas within the bank
Develop internal controls including policies and procedure, change control, comprehensive documentation and model validation
A Qualified Candidate Will Have:
At least a Bachelors of Science or Business Administration degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting
At least 4 full time working years of relevant experience in a financial services
CCAR experience
Product Control Experience
CPA (preferred)
Working knowledge of investment banking products and markets
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
