Our client is a small automated trading firm in the Tri-State area looking for C++ obsessed engineers to help them build the next generation of their trading engine. This firm prioritizes technology and they operate an incredibly lean team of computer scientists, mathematicians, and engineers.
They are looking for a technologist who has a passion for highly performant systems that are latency sensitive and absolutely pivotal to the firm's success. This trading system runs on Linux and operates at Nano-second latency. The systems you build will run the high-frequency models for which the firm trades US equity and equity derivative products. As such, your work will directly impact the bottom line and will be reflected in your year-end bonus. This company is run by technologists with no prior financial experience, and no prior finance experience is needed.

Additional Attributes:
- C++ expertise with interest/experience in C++14,17,20 standards
- Knowledge of OS internals, CPU Architecture, networking, sockets, low-level system architecture
- Experience working in a latency sensitive environment
- Working Knowledge of Linux
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
