Responsibilities
- Forecast supply-demand / market fundamentals, prices and margins across a range of petrochemicals and refined oil products
- Take charge of consultancy projects globally and be accountable for them from start to end
- Tailor market insights to individual customers and assess the impact of the insight for each customer qualitatively and quantitatively for both the customer and the company
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with consulting clients
- Be involved in other key market developments with a focus on energy transition, plastic circularity & sustainability
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience in commercial aspect in petrochemicals, energy & refined products
- Able to rationalise, solve and communicate answers to complex problems
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and willingness to learn other tools/applications such as Power Query, Power BI, Tableau etc
- Proven track record of working in value based, customer-centred buying methodologies and exceeding objectives and financial goals
- Able to create and develop commercial consulting strategies to maximise resource and execute against market opportunity
