They are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Corporate Banking Director to oversee their TMT sector clients. This role requires a strategic mindset, a deep understanding of the TMT industry, and a proven track record in corporate banking relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Management:
- Lead and nurture client relationships with TMT sector corporate clients.
- Understand client needs and deliver bespoke financial solutions in areas such as M&A, capital raising, treasury services, and risk management.
- Ensure a consistent, high-quality client experience.
- Strategic Leadership:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, challenges, and opportunities in the TMT sector.
- Collaborate with product partners to drive innovative solutions for clients.
- Identify and drive new business opportunities.
- Risk Management:
- Oversee credit and operational risk processes for the TMT portfolio.
- Collaborate with risk management teams to ensure client solutions are aligned with the bank's risk appetite.
- Team Development:
- Lead and mentor a team of relationship managers and support staff.
- Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages continuous learning and growth.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments, such as Investment Banking and Asset Management, to provide holistic services to TMT clients.
- Engage with senior leadership to align department goals with the bank's broader strategy.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate banking, with significant exposure to the TMT sector.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proven track record of building and nurturing senior-level client relationships.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
