Summary:
Our client is seeking a Credit Auditor to form a key part of their Audit team in Munich. You will work on a variety of Audit projects supporting the Head of Internal Audit in guaranteeing compliance with audit-specific requirements as defined by regulations. This is an ideal opportunity to further your career working in a small team within one of Germany's leading financial services institutions.
The Credit Auditor will:
*Take part in the creation of annual planning processes by implementing process- and risk-oriented audits
*Support management in identifying relevant audit areas and in the development of internal audit processes as a whole
*Develop and implement audits, focusing on:
oReviewing credit processes for compliance in line with regulatory and legal requirements and a risk-adequate design
oExecution of functional tests that will determine the applicability and comprehensibility as well as the compliance of processes
oImplementing case studies to assess the risk content of credit exposures as well as the processing and support by the front office and back office
oConducting examination of the outsourced processes and tasks
oReviewing credit risk management systems
*Prepare essential audit reports and examining implemented audit measures
*Carry out project-accompanying examinations and spe
*Act as an advisor across all departments on credit issues
*Participate in supervisory examinations

You should:
*Have a degree in law, economics or a related subject
*Possess significant knowledge of commercial law, especially in the areas of GDPR, MaRisk, KWG, BAIT and HGB
*Also be aware of auditing and supervisory law, particularly concerning CRR/IRBA requirements as well as EBA requirements and the lending business
*Be willing to travel occasionally within Germany and abroad
*Be fluent in German, English conversational skills are also beneficial
