Credit Risk Model Developer (m/f/d)
Our client is one of world's leading global financial services provider with offices across all Europe. The Head of Risk recently started looking for an Credit Risk Model Developer in Frankfurt, who will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing credit risk models to help identify and manage credit risk across the bank. The ideal candidate will have experience with Probability of Default and have programming skills in Python.
Responsibilities:
-Design, develop, and implement credit risk models to support effective credit risk management across the organization
-Work collaboratively with stakeholders across the company to understand their needs and ensure that credit risk models meet business requirements
-Analyse large datasets and apply statistical techniques to develop predictive models that improve credit risk management outcomes
-Monitor and analyse credit risk trends and recommend appropriate actions to mitigate risk exposure.
Communicate complex credit risk models and analysis results to technical and non-technical stakeholders
-Great English language skills
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree or higher in statistics, mathematics, finance, economics, or a related field.
-2 to 3 years of experience in risk modelling in a financial services environment
-Strong analytical skills, with experience analysing large datasets and applying statistical techniques to develop predictive models
-Strong programming skills in SAS, Python or R
-Experience with Probability of Default, Loss Given Default and/or Exposure at Default
-Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
-Strong attention to detail and a track record of delivering high-quality work on time
-Familiarity with industry best practices for credit risk management, including Basel II and III, stress testing, and credit scoring.
-Knowledge of financial products such as loans, derivatives, and securities, and the associated risks.
-German knowledge is a plus
