Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate and implement cybersecurity enhancements to strengthen security posture.
- Collaborate with teams to execute security projects addressing identified risks, in compliance with international cybersecurity standards.
- Analyze current cybersecurity practices to identify risks and recommend improvements.
- Design and implement enhancements to increase resilience against cyber threats.
- Monitor security systems continuously to detect and address potential threats.
- Analyze threat intelligence to predict and mitigate potential breaches.
- Provide expert guidance on critical threat assessments to stakeholders.
Job Experience and Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in cybersecurity incident response.
- Practical experience with Microsoft Defender (XDR, Endpoint, M365, Cloud Apps, Identity), Intune, Sentinel, and implementing a Zero Trust security model.
- Familiarity with security best practices and tools in other cloud environments, including AWS and Google Cloud (GCP).
- Experience in deploying modern security systems and tools, such as NGFW and SASE.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage complex security systems and software.
- Effective communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders up to the Director level in both spoken and written English.
- Certifications such as Microsoft Security Operations Analyst Associate.
- Understanding of international frameworks and standards, including ISO 9000, 27001, and PCI/DSS.
- Additional certifications in Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Knowledge of the maritime industry and operational technology (OT) systems.
