Crypto trading firm founded by a veteran of wall street's electronic trading environment is looking for talented Cloud DevOps Engineers in the New York area.
The company is responsible for connecting trading firms, banks, and hedge funds to crypto exchanges, custody platforms, and liquidity providers
As the company expands, they are in great need of DevOps Engineers to help build cloud-based infrastructure for various platforms involved in the processes listed above. This engineer will be exposed to numerous areas of cloud architecture, as well as on-premise and low-latency infrastructure, extremely valuable skills in the financial services industry.
Responsibilities
- Architecting, deploying, and managing a suite of AWS services set up for scalability, availability, and security
- Analyzing existing systems and driving infrastructure optimization & maintenance activities including wide-scale automation
- Design and Creation of fully automated, end to end CI/CD pipelines
- Implement availability, security, performance monitoring and alerting of cloud solutions
- Manage multiple environments and promote code between them
- Promoting a DevOps and automation first mentality across the tech division
Candidate Requirements
- 3+ years experience in a DevOps, DevSecOps, or SRE position
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments
- Deep Knowledge of AWS cloud computing
- Experience with containerization technologies in public cloud environments (Kubernetes is preferred)
- Understanding of Unit and Integration testing
- Interest in the cryptocurrency and blockchain space
- Strong scripting experience - Python, Bash, Groovy, etc.
Bonus Qualifications
- Prior experience in the financial services industry (experience in crypto/blockchain is even better)
- Experience with Cloud Security including IAM, Certificate Management, and Key management
- Extensive experience with IaC tools - Terraform, CloudFormation, etcโฆ
- Knowledge of the electronic trading space
