A Multinational Investment Bank is seeking a Director of Regulatory Compliance to lead a team of 5 and to provide oversight of its branches and subsidiaries across Europe! You will be reporting into the Board of Directors and the Chief Compliance Officer on the oversight of regulatory and compliance risks and controls.
As a Director of Regulatory Compliance, you will be:
* Leading and providing oversight and maintenance of integrated, risk based compliance programs
* Ensuring that the Compliance Monitoring Framework is appropriately implemented across the Bank and its branches and subsidiaries
* Establishing the Compliance Monitoring Program in Luxembourg and overseeing the execution across the other locations
* Improving Compliance policies and procedures
* Implementing different Compliance Training Programs
* Supervising Regulatory Compliance professionals, covering areas such as Market Abuse, Conflicts of Interest, Client Complaint, Conduct Breaches
* Liaising with key stakeholders
* Updating the governance framework
* Assisting the CCO in managing external regulatory relationship with relevant regulators
* Reporting into the board of directors on all regulatory compliance queries etc
As a Director of Regulatory Compliance, you should have:
* Bachelor's degree in Finance or equivalent
* 7 to 10 years of experience on a similar position within the banking/fund industry
* Strong knowledge of the regulatory environment and EU regulations
* Management experience
* Ability to multi-task and flexible attitude to working hours
* Ability to engage with stakeholders
* Fluency in English, and any other language is considered an asset
