My client a Chinese securities firm is looking for an experienced equity research analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in equity research, with a focus on HK and overseas (e.g. US, Taiwan) listed hardware stocks, including those in semiconductor, handset and their supply chain related industries.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research on HK and overseas (e.g. US, Taiwan) listed hardware stocks, including those in semiconductor, handset and their supply chain related industries.
- Analyze financial statements, industry trends, and other relevant data to develop investment recommendations.
- Build and maintain financial models to support investment recommendations.
- Write research reports and other investment-related content.
- Communicate investment recommendations to clients and other stakeholders.
- Attend industry conferences and other events to stay up-to-date on market trends and developments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in equity research, with a focus on HK and overseas (e.g. US, Taiwan) listed hardware stocks, including those in semiconductor, handset and their supply chain related industries.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial modeling tools.
