Title: Full Stack Software/DevOps Engineer (Remote)
Salary: $150,000-180,000
**Must have past work experience in health care industry and sufficient understanding of health care data and applications**
Summary: A Series A health care fintech start-up is looking to bring on a talented engineer for their cross-functional Full Stack/DevOps engineer position. This is the perfect opportunity for engineers with 4-6 years of experience to advance their career. The role is best suited for someone who is comfortable with senior leadership interaction and front office visibility. The company is still below 50 employees, providing an intimate and focused environment to learn and advance your skills, all while making an impact! Their new engineer will be highly involved in different aspects of the team, and gain holistic experience easily applied to future positions.
Responsibilities:
- Leading multiple application development and integration efforts
- Creating solution architecture, making architectural decisions, in addition to development and implementation of applications
- Work directly with project managers and product, data, and operations teams
- Performing within the SDLC framework
- Build software for integrating systems including APIs and web services
- Lend to and plan cost-saving initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience with AWS, Microservices, API Management, and Mobile application development frameworks
- Knowledge with one or more integration technologies or open-source software
- Expertise in public and hybrid cloud tools and technologies covering automated provisioning, configuration management, CI/CD, DevOps, Chef/Puppet, and Container technologies such as Docker
- Knowledge of Security Protocols
- Significant experience with Java, JavaScript (Angular, React, Node), frameworks such as spring boot, MVC, SQL databases
- Understanding of Data Integration
- Given the company's size, ability to interact with senior leadership is a must.
