We are working alongside our client, a fast-growing Fintech from the payments space, in their search for an Internal Auditor to join their business. The role involves working alongside a team of professionals who will be auditing and integrating the regulatory and risk framework for the group and also the newly acquired parts of the business. The Internal Auditor will:
- Work independently on the entire audit cycle, including the planning, implementation and reporting stages.
- Examination of the effectiveness of the IC and RMS and the policies and processes
- Planning, preparation and implementation of internal audits, i.e. analysis and evaluation of internal company business processes with regard to regularity, security, functionality
- Carrying out audits (including special audits) within the group
- Make recommendations for action or suggestions for optimization to management and process optimization teams
- Advice and processing of complex inquiries from specialist sites and external bodies
You should:
- Possess a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, i.e. business, economics, etc.
- Be solutions-oriented and able to work in a structured and precise manner
- Have had at least 4 years of relevant professional experience in auditing at payment/credit institutions/financial service providers/a consulting business in the German market
- Working proficiency in German and English
- Occasional willingness to travel to other entity locations in Germany
