Lead Platform/SRE
Hybrid or Remote (Santa Monica, CA or Austin, TX)
comp: 180k - 280k all in
This role is focused on leading, designing and developing the platform and services that underpin all of the firm's applications and business processes across a variety of technical domains.
The firm is looking for a hands-on engineer to join their team and own the platform's strategy for SDLC services.
What you might work on:
- Own the strategy for SDLC services, including design/implementation, roadmap, and operations support plan for developer tools, version control systems, and CI/CD pipelines
- Engage with application development teams to drive SDLC best practices and assist with their utilization of tools, processes, and services
- Migrate on-premise systems to SaaS/cloud-based offerings, where appropriate
- Develop software solutions using scripting and back-end technologies
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience developing software solutions
- 5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and/or supporting CI/CD systems and services
- Working knowledge of version control, artifact management systems, and deployment automation
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Comfortable troubleshooting vendor software systems
- Deep familiarity with Linux and related technologies
- Familiarity with Windows and related technologies
- Experience developing software in Python (or equivalent), Terraform (or equivalent), and Ansible (or equivalent)
