Chicago-based proprietary trading firm is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer to manage and lead systems and infrastructure projects, leading a small team of engineers in architect, deployment, and maintenance of Windows server/desktop environments.
Scope of Work:
- Serve as SME of all Microsoft ecosystem-based solutions
- Troubleshoot complex issues related to Windows systems, network connectivity, and application compatibility
- Configuration management, automation, and monitoring to ensure system stability
- Collaborate with other teams to resolve complex issues
Qualifications:
- Extensive expertise in Microsoft; Windows Server, Desktop OS, Exchange, and Group Policy
- Deep understanding of Windows Server operating systems (2016, 2019, etc.), Active Directory, Group Policy
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Python and PowerShell scripting
- Project management experience is preferred
