Summary:
We are working alongside our client, a leading international energy company, on their search for an Audit Operations Manager to join their team in Dรผsseldorf. The Audit Operations Manager will work closely with our internal audit team, as well as external auditors, to ensure that all audits are conducted in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
The Audit Operations Manager will:
- Develop and implement audit plans and strategies that align with the company's overall objectives.
- Oversee the execution of audits across the company's global operations, ensuring that all audits are conducted in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that audit findings are communicated effectively and corrective actions are taken.
- Manage the audit team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship as needed.
- Ensure that all audit activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor the effectiveness of the company's internal controls and make recommendations for improvements where necessary.
- Provide regular reports on audit activities to senior management, including status updates, audit findings, and recommendations for improvement.
You should:
- Possess a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Either have achieved a CPA, CIA, or CISA certification or be working towards it.
- Have at least 6 years of experience in audit, including experience managing audit teams.
- Ideally already have experience working in the energy or utility sector preferred.
- Have a strong understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
- Possess excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Be proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
