Key Responsibilities:
- Leading all compliance and AML activities across the UK
- Overseeing internal control activities
- Providing high-quality compliance advice to challenge the business
- Implementing compliance and financial crime training sessions across the firm
- Managing the relationship and regulatory returns with the FCA
- Reporting to the board and group head of compliance
- Working closely with other heads of various business lines across Europe
Profile:
- 5+ years' experience in a regulated MLRO or compliance role.
- Experience of working in a MIFID investment firm or credit institution
- Strong knowledge of the UK regulatory environment
- Understanding of capital markets and banking system
- Strong organizational and presentation skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Fluency in English
