A $50M AUM Private Credit firm is looking to add a special situations associate to their Investment Team. The firm is located right outside of Philadelphia, and the firm has a deep experience across private equity, private credit, and special situations. This is a chance to join a growing investment firm working very closely with senior investment professionals in a highly visible role.
Responsibilities:
- Creating intricate financial models to evaluate investment profitability and perform diverse valuation assessment
- Participate in the identification, evaluation, and execution of potential investment opportunities
- Monitor and assess portfolio company performance, aiding in strategic initiative analysis
- Prepare investment memoranda and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to market research, investor reporting, process enhancement, and support ad-hoc projects as directed by senior team members
Qualifications
- Strong academic background
- 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, lending, or a similar role
- Self-starter, motivated, passionate about investing
- Proficient in process management and financial modeling
- Self-motivated, clear communicator, who holds professional integrity
- Highly organized, adaptable, and willing to work in a dynamic office environment in Philadelphia
