Production Engineer / SRE Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of critical systems and ensure operational stability of production systems across the business
- Respond to issues raised by users in a timely and clear manner; investigating and implementing solutions to prevent repeat occurrences
- Proactively contribute to our monitoring and alerting systems to ensure visibility on system health and allow for quick response during any degradation
- Develop and deliver tactical solutions to business teams in order to meet their requirements
- Participate in on-call rota to provide out-of-hours support for our critical global operations
- Assist with the companies expansion into the cloud (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
Production Engineer / SRE Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience working with production systems in the financial services industry
- An individual with a technical and problem-solving mindset who thrives under pressure
- Exposure to at least one scripting language e.g., Python
- Proficiency in SQL
