A leading independent, employee-owned firm specializing in risk management, financial services, and investments is looking to add a Public Finance Associate. The firm works with individual, corporate and institutional clients to help them achieve their objectives.
A key candidate will have the following characteristics:
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years in public finance/municipal bond investment banking
- Proficiency in DBC Finance software
- Currently holds a Series 52 and 63 FINRA License or must be willing to obtain within 6 months of initial start date
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Bloomberg
Responsibilities:
- Create financial models based on clients financing needs
- Research and interpret macro and issuer-specific capital market activity
- Facilitate deal processes through coordinating with accountants, the counsel,and insurers.
- Maintain debt database
