We are currently working with a leading shipping, logistics and marine services company who is keen on expanding their sales desk. They are looking for an experienced Sales Manager in Singapore to join their dynamic sales team and contribute to their growing success.
Sales Manager, Existing clients preferably, Commodities, Location: Singapore
Responsibilities:
- Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories
- Maintain strong relationship with existing customers while developing new relationship for potential customers
- Business development of accounts that are based within the region
- Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, evolving trends, economic indicators and competitors
- Project expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products
- Help to grow, build and develop new business pipeline / market share
- Must be hard working, performance orientated and results driven
- Fast thinking, excellent communicator and good negotiator
- Be willing to be based in Singapore
- Hardworking and committed, be prepared to go the extra mile
Requirements:
- Ideally a minimum of 5 years of direct sales experience in the shipping industry as well as a portfolio of clients to port over.
- Strong quality of networks within the major shipping companies in Asia or other parts of the world.
- Fluent in English, and ability to speak another Asian language (preferably mandarin) would be a plus as you would be dealing with Asian markets, but not necessary.
