Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Scrum Master for one or more agile teams in the digital department, facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-up meetings, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Lead the agile delivery process for digital products, ensuring that the team is delivering high-quality products on time and within budget.
- Work with product owners and stakeholders to prioritise work and manage the backlog, ensuring that requirements are clear and actionable.
- Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring that they are appropriately tracked and resolved.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and testers, to ensure that they are working collaboratively and efficiently.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, working with the team to identify and implement process improvements that drive efficiency and quality.
- Ensure that the team is adhering to agile principles and best practices, and that they are properly trained in agile methodologies.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in agile project management, preferably in a digital banking or financial services environment.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and testers.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others.
- Understanding of agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
- Experience with project management tools, such as Jira, Confluence, or Trello.
- Understanding of digital banking products, such as mobile banking, online banking, and payments.
- Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements.
- Agile certification (e.g. Certified Scrum Master) is preferred.
