A leading business in Singapore is seeking an experienced Human Resource Professional to come onboard to lead up the HR team in their construction/manufacturing business. This is an exciting senior-level opportunity to support the HR requirements and drive transformation projects for the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work in an environment which demands strong deliverables along with the ability to identify problems, root causes and drive appropriate solutions
* Lead talent management, development, succession planning, people strategies based on data insights to improve business performance in partnership with other business leaders
* Deliver change management plans, communications and enabling processes that facilitate talent strategies
* Interface across at all levels of the organization, including dealing with blue-collar workers
* Operate with autonomy and discretion; experience with rapid and complex changing work environment
The Ideal Candidate:
* Bachelor's Degree with strong proven experience in HR competencies and metrics
* Ability to architect strategy along with leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills
* Relevant experience in the construction industry would be advantageous
* Comfortable and adequate in dealing with large groups of support and blue-collar workers
* Ability to work across different cultures, with a strong drive to create a positive work environment
* In-depth knowledge of labor and employment laws
