Our client is a leading provider of real estate investments across institutional and private investors in Germany. They currently manage assets over โฌ9bn with an investment focus across Europe and Australia.
They are currently expanding their risk team and are looking for an experienced Senior Risk Manager to join their Munich office to help oversee relevant real estate and AIFM level risk.
Key Responsibilities include:
*Advising departments on risk issues include avoidance and mitigation.
*Review of real estate portfolio risk and new business risk.
*Contribution to the development of risk guidelines and risk support in function with investment/purchase processes.
*Continuous further development of risk reporting using commercial systems (Synapplix) and individual data processing (IDV).
The ideal candidate will:
*Masters degree in economics, mathematics, physics or equivalent.
*Business fluent German and English.
*Advanced knowledge of real estate asset class.
*Risk management experience within fund management for capital management organisations or commercial real estate finance ideal.
*Strong analytical capabilities and creative problem-solving abilities are essential, including an advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel as well as communication skills
