One of the top Blue Cross Blue Shield plans in the country is looking to add an ASA to it's Government team. The Associate Actuary will supervise a team of analysts and focus on MAPD pricing.
Responsibilities
- Report into the VP, pricing, oversee calculations, serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME)
- Key member of the Government team with a focus on Part D pricing
- Responsible for coordinating the activities analysts ensuring accurate and timely release of requested analyses and reports
- Produce presentations for senior management and communicating status of deliverables to the department management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, economics, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in actuarial work in a health insurance, managed care, or related consulting business
- Prior Medicare Part D Pricing experience
- ASA certification
