Our client is looking for a business continuity manager to join their team and contribute to the development and implementation of the business continuity strategy for the APAC region and their global operations. As a subject matter expert, you will collaborate with internal partners in APAC, ensuring compliance with business continuity regulations and trends.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the implementation of policies, procedures, and programs to maintain organizational resilience and minimize risk.
- Ensure adherence to business continuity policies and recommend improvements based on experience. Implement new policies and procedures.
- Develop and present new policies and procedures to enhance the efficiency and quality of business continuity programs to senior management.
- Manage the deployment of resources, including operational centers and technology, and troubleshoot any issues.
- Provide recommendations on business resilience strategies to senior management, leading to the development of new policies and procedures.
- Update and communicate continuity, testing, and recovery action plans in alignment with group methodologies and timeframes.
- Prioritize the APAC business continuity program, coordinating resources to meet objectives.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and client and regulatory expectations, including documentation and use of the eGRC system.
- Document test and drill results and report progress to regional and global governance committees.
Requirements:
- Demonstrable business continuity experience in financial services, preferably in an asset management firm.
- Strong knowledge of business continuity and operational resilience regulation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with senior management and Boards.
- Strong relationship-building capabilities and the ability to work at all levels of the organization.
- Professional qualification in business continuity.
