Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition and Retention: Identify and target potential clients within UK financial institutions, including asset managers, hedge funds, and investment banks. Develop and execute strategies to acquire new clients while maintaining strong relationships with existing ones.
Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet revenue targets and business objectives. Guide clients through the sales process, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
Market Intelligence and Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the financial industry. Leverage your understanding of macroeconomic principles to articulate the value of our research and data offerings to prospective clients.
Collaboration and Relationship Management: Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment and support in delivering exceptional service to clients. Foster positive relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in direct sales, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of macroeconomic principles and their application to financial markets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
