Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an appropriate Data Governance framework
- Oversee Data Domains and Data Owners across departments to ensure their fulfillment of duties
- Manage data glossary, data catalog, and report inventory
- Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), metrics, and workflows for Data Quality (DQ)
- Collaborate with Data Owners to define DQ KPIs, progress dashboards, and criteria for "good data quality" across datasets
- Coordinate with IT, Reporting team, and Operations to deploy DQ rules/checks inventory and manage escalations
- Monitor manual adjustments and touchpoints, implementing actions to mitigate issues * Establish Targets and Monitor/Report Progress
- Collaborate with Data Owners to establish and achieve DQ improvement targets within specified timeframes
Qualifications:
- Possess 5-8 years of expertise in asset management or a closely related industry
- Demonstrated experience in establishing or upholding a data governance initiative within a comparable organization
- Familiarity and ease in navigating a data-rich environment with high transaction volumes
