A London-based Asset Management firm is seeking a Credit Analyst for their growing team. This exciting position offers the opportunity to work on investment-grade (and some High Yield) debt from around the world and provides room for growth within this expanding company.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough fundamental analysis of corporate credit issuers across various industries to assess creditworthiness and identify investment
opportunities.
- Evaluate financial statements, credit metrics, industry trends, and macroeconomic factors to develop comprehensive credit recommendations.
- Collaborate with portfolio managers to contribute to the construction, management, and optimisation of corporate credit fixed income portfolios.
- Monitor and manage existing credit positions, ensuring alignment with investment guidelines, risk limits, and performance objectives.
- Generate written research reports and presentations to communicate investment recommendations and market insights to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Stay abreast of market developments, regulatory changes, and industry trends that could impact fixed income markets and corporate credit investments.
Education/Experience:
- 2-4 years of experience as a buy side credit analyst, with some exposure to American and/or global credits.
- Strong knowledge base surrounding corporate finance principles.
- Ability to analyse complex data sets using various software programs.
