Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the overall credit card product strategy in alignment with the bank's business objectives.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to identify opportunities and drive product enhancements.
- Define product requirements, features, and pricing for credit card products to meet customer demands and maximise profitability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, risk management, compliance, and technology to develop and launch new credit card products and initiatives.
- Monitor and analyse credit card portfolio performance, including acquisition, activation, usage, and retention metrics, and develop strategies to drive growth and profitability.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and market dynamics related to credit card products, and recommend product enhancements and innovations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, and credit card networks.
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns and promotional strategies to drive credit card acquisition and usage.
- Conduct regular competitive benchmarking to ensure the bank's credit card offerings remain competitive in the market.
- Collaborate with customer service teams to ensure efficient handling of credit card-related customer inquiries and issue resolution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in credit cards or consumer financial services.
- Strong knowledge of the credit card industry, market trends, and regulatory environment.
- Demonstrated experience in product strategy development, launch, and management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques.
- Creative thinking and ability to identify and capitalise on market opportunities.
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
