Our client, a leading energy company based in North Rhine Westphalia, is seeking to hire an experienced Credit Risk Analyst. As part of their risk team, you will play a vital role in helping manage and mitigate credit risks while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
* Perform analysis on counterparty creditworthiness including reviewing financial statements.
* Evaluate collateral valuations such as reserves reports using appropriate third-party sources.
* Monitor exposure limits through daily review of trading activities against approved mandates.
* Work closely with internal stakeholders e.g., traders/origination teams/compliance/regulatory reporting etc.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher education qualification
- Relevant work experience within the banking, energy or commodities industry
- Credit risk analysis expertise in project finance
Skills:
- Ability to evaluate financial information and assess potential risks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledgeable about relevant regulations
