Position Overview:
As a Credit Risk Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing credit risk associated with a diverse portfolio of insurance companies. Your responsibilities will include conducting in-depth credit analysis, monitoring exposures, and ensuring the accurate measurement of credit risk. You will collaborate closely with our global team spanning New York, Zurich, London, and Bangalore, contributing to structured reinsurance transactions and enhancing risk control frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough credit analysis of insurance companies within the portfolio.
- Monitor credit risk exposures and ensure accurate measurement of credit risk.
- Support assessments of insurance and reinsurance transactions with embedded credit risk.
- Maintain and improve risk control frameworks related to financial credit.
- Implement strategies to mitigate credit risk and ensure compliance with risk management policies.
- Collaborate effectively with team members across different locations.
- Analyze complex financial data and make informed decisions regarding credit risk management.
- Communicate complex concepts to various stakeholders, including senior management.
- Operate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in credit risk management within the financial sector.
- Experience in structured finance and/or the insurance sector is desirable.
- Strong academic qualifications, including an MBA, CFA, or FRM, are preferred.
