My clients are seeking Deputy Head Team Lead Compliance Officer to contribute to the team overseeing Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Prevention of Facilitation of Tax Evasion, Third-Party Payments, and Compliance IT Controls. Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive advice on anti-money laundering (AML) and prevention of facilitation of tax evasion to other Compliance teams, addressing even the most complex inquiries across the organization.
- Serve as the go-to person for AML or tax evasion risks, supporting other Compliance teams in conducting due diligence (e.g., KYC) on new or existing counterparties.
- Review and approve payment arrangements involving third parties (non-contractual parties).
- Offer guidance on third-party payment-related matters, addressing complex inquiries from other Compliance teams across the organization.
- Contribute to various compliance projects and inquiries, including updating, enhancing, and creating Policies, Standards, Procedures, and Guidelines (PSPG), along with accompanying manuals and training materials.
- Assist in risk assessments, local impact assessments, reporting, audit requests, and other related activities.
- Act as a deputy for the team lead in matters related to AML, prevention of facilitation of tax evasion, and third-party payments during their absence.
Technical Experience:
- Hold an academic degree or equivalent qualification.
- Possess 5 years or more of relevant working experience in Compliance, with expertise in AML, prevention of facilitation of tax evasion, KYC, or equivalent areas.
- Experience in an international company is advantageous.
- Exhibit a keen interest in compliance topics.
