Selby Jennings are working with one of the leading Global Hedge Funds who are looking to expand after their excellent performance this year. The firm offer customised portfolios to their clients and have seen another year of 10% returns. They are now looking to expand their European outreach by bringing on a European Sales Director to lead their fund raising across EMEA.
This European Sales Director will work closely with the CEO to add to their current c.ยฃ2bn assets under management. This person will head up the European Sales function and use their extensive knowledge of Hedge Funds to raise capital and win some more Global Hedge Fund awards to add to the existing collection.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the European Sales function and manage Business Development from qualification all the way through to closure.
- Use existing network of European clients and generate business from new Wholesale Clients
- Organise conferences, roadshows and campaigns to enhance Sales.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Business Development experience in Fund of Funds
- Track Record of Raising Assets
- Extensive knowledge of the Hedge Fund space
- Technical understanding of Hedge Fund products
- Driven by sales and commission
- Market rate base salary + lucrative commission structure on assets raised
