Our client, a leading investment bank, is currently seeking an M&A Consumer Analyst/Associate with one of the leading investment banking firms. They are seeking someone with a previous consumer background.
Role Overview:
As an M&A Consumer Analyst/Associate, you will be responsible for conducting financial analysis on companies within the consumer sector. Your primary role is to support senior bankers throughout all phases of deal execution - from initial pitch materials through closing documentation preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting research and analysing complex data
* Building detailed financial models
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams (legal counsel/industry experts)
* Preparing presentations/reports
* Assisting clients during negotiations
Qualifications & Skills Required:
The ideal candidate should possess relevant experience working within Investment Banking/Mergers & Acquisitions focused on consumers.
Additional qualifications include:
โ Bachelor's degree minimum
โ Strong analytical skills required including familiarity with Excel modelling techniques
โ Excellent communication/presentation abilities essential
