Company Summary: Established middle market firm who works across a variety of industries including industrials and business services. The organization focuses on the use of superior operation practices and in-depth strategies to fully meet client expectations. They are ideally looking for an individual currently enrolled in a post graduate MBA program that would be interested in the opportunity to lead a team of more junior employees, as well as play an active role in their development through consistent mentorship. The selected candidate would also be responsible for overseeing multiple critical task in the organization such as leading transactions, negotiating with sellers, building multiple types of analyses, and more.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage a team of associates; serve as a mentor to them.
- Enhance portfolio company value through the use developing and checking business plans.
- Find and procure new investment opportunities.
- Lead transaction execution
Qualifications
- 4 years of private equity experience, 5+ years total.
- Most possess strong leadership skills that will demonstrate the ability to lead currently and with future promotions.
- Experience with lower middle market M&A opportunities.
- Must be an upstanding individual, from a strong school, with an innate ability to work autonomously in the office, as well as on the significant work trips that will be required.
