Python Trading Developer - Crypto Trading

As a Python Trading Developer, you will play a pivotal role in the firm's trading operations, collaborating closely with the portfolio manager and head of trading. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor risk and optimise their proprietary trading system. This exciting role involves identifying inefficiencies in valuation and trading logic, devising improvement plans, and implementing cutting-edge solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with traders and portfolio managers to implement trade logic for deployment.
- Assist in designing, coding, and maintaining tools for the systematic trading infrastructure of the team.
- Work with various crypto exchange and database connectors to enhance trading capabilities.
- Oversee and build out specific trading and risk features using the firm's Order Management System.
- Create well-documented libraries and effectively communicate technical concepts to Engineers, Traders, and PMs.
- Provide real-time system support to ensure smooth trading operations.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Advanced Python development skills.
- 3+ years experience in a development role in crypto market making or HFT
- Proficiency in various database technologies.
- Demonstrated knowledge of distributed computing technologies, including Kubernetes, and event-based infrastructure.
- Familiarity with web technology, particularly websockets and gRPC.
- Experience in integrating third-party tools and API development.
- Knowledge of server-side development, with experience on AWS being desirable.
- Working understanding of multiprocessing and managing technology to orchestrate various functionalities.
- High integrity and the ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with or a keen interest in the cryptocurrency domain.
