Currently partnered with the Head Quant Trader of a commodities desk, within a globally leading, systematic trading firm. The team is looking to add multiple headcount to this desk, specializing in commodities - with a specific interest in Power and Natural Gas Markets.
This is an outstanding opportunity to work collaboratively with experienced quant researchers, traders, and analysts on an tenured commodities trading desk.
Qualifications
- Prior systematic trading experience (commodities preferred but open to other asset classes)
- Strong problem solving ability and communication skills
- STEM Master's degree with a preference fro a PhD (Math, Physics, Stats)
- High level coding ability, python or C++
Highly Valued Experience
- Experience working at a commodities firm or on a commodities desk as a quant analyst or trader
- Familiarity with Natural Gas and/or Power Markets
