Systems & Infrastructure Specialist (Data Center)

A leading High Frequency Trading firm is seeking an experienced Data Center Specialist that will have expertise in troubleshooting hardware, systems, networks as well as experience with GPU/CPU technology.
Responsibilities:
- Manage data center operations by monitoring performance and ensuring maximum uptime.
- Install servers, power distribution units(PDUs), storage devices etc at designated locations across multiple sites globally
- Perform equipment upgrades/replacements/upgrades when needed
- Troubleshoot complex issues related to servers, network connectivity and storage devices.
- Work closely with project management teams on new initiatives that require infrastructure design or technical support
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for problem identification & resolution; identify trends/patterns across incidents/changes/problems/network metrics/data sets
Requirements:
- Strong background working with Linux operating system environments;
- Expertise managing CPU/GPU intensive applications,
- Network architecture knowledge including TCP/IP protocols ,
- RMA Process Knowledge: Expertise with Return Material Authorization processes would also prove valuable because we believe it's important that all products returned due to failure undergo proper analysis before getting replaced by vendors if necessary.
