The team plays a crucial role in crafting and up keeping the firm's extensive computing infrastructure, covering operating systems, software tools, high-performance computing, networking, and storage dedicated to research and trading. The selected engineer will engage in a broad spectrum of technology initiatives within a distributed computing setting, involving tasks like designing and implementing workload scheduling, managing fleets, overseeing clustered file system operations, handling software design and life cycle (SDLC), fine-tuning kernel and network performance for low-latency and high-throughput applications, and conducting metrics collection and data mining analysis.
WHO WE'RE SEEKING:
* We're on the lookout for an ideal candidate showcasing a genuine interest in understanding the intricacies of technology, holding a degree in computer science or a related technical discipline, or boasting equivalent experience within a five-year range. Proficiency in Python, Golang, Rust, or a comparable language is a prerequisite.
* Familiarity with Linux-based systems and networking is a valuable bonus.

* The projected annual base salary for this position falls between $200,000 and $250,000.
