We are seeking an Application Support Lead to oversee the daily operations of our trading desk and support the trading team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and resolving trade-related issues, ensuring timely execution of trades, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of US based application support analysts and ensure the timely resolution of trade-related issues.
- Collaborate with traders, middle office, and back office teams to ensure timely execution of trades and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for the firms systems and market data
- Work closely with development teams, QA teams, PMs, Traders, and analysts.
- Work closely with technology teams to develop and enhance trading systems and tools.
- Provide training and support to new hires on trading systems and procedures.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in trade support or a related role.
- Strong understanding of Equity/listed products and experience working with Fixed Income, OTC derivatives, Credit, and commodities products.
- Experience managing a team of trade support analysts.
- Experience scripting in Python, or PowerShell, and expertise in SQL
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to trading operations.
