A leading global speciality commercial insurer and re-insurer with operations in the UK, Continental European and Bermudian markets are growing their compliance team with the addition of a new Compliance Officer.
They specialise in providing insurance cover for a wide range of risks to commercial enterprises and reinsurance protection to other insurers around the world.
You will have chance to independently perform regulatory compliance advisory activities which gives assurance to senior UK management and to the board.
What will I be doing?
- Compliance advisor for the UK Branches (main focus) but also deployable for other compliance activities in other European regions
- Tracking of current and new legal and regulatory requirements
- Provide subject matter expertise on UK Consumer Protection and Delegated Authorities
- Support, guide and challenge on compliance issues, building effective relationships with key stakeholders
- Provide subject matter expertise on UK Consumer Protection and Delegated Authorities
What do I need
- At least 3 years compliance experience gained within an insurance or reinsurance firm
- Knowledge within UK Consumer Protection would be an advantage
