A European private Bank is seeking a Lawyer to deputise their head of Legal. You will handle all legal matters related to customers, contractual partners, and authorities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing day-to-day legal inquiries
- Drafting legal opinions
- Preparing and negotiating contracts and customer documentation
- Implementing regulatory projects
- Providing legal support for new product introductions
- Coordinating with external law firms
- Developing internal training courses
Candidate Profile:
- Law degree and qualification as a fully qualified lawyer
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Luxembourg's financial sector, preferably in banking or fund law
- Strong analytical and structured thinking
- Ability to independently and quickly grasp new legal issues
- Proficient in explaining complex legal matters to non-lawyers
- Reliable, resilient, and solution-oriented
- Excellent communication skills in German and English
