A client of ours is seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance Officer to join their compliance team in Paris.
As a Regulatory Compliance Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and maintaining our banking group's reputation for integrity and ethical practices. Based in Paris, you will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with AMF regulations and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stay up-to-date with the evolving regulatory landscape, specifically focusing on AMF regulations, and assess their impact on our banking operations.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate controls to mitigate compliance risks.
- Develop, review, and update compliance policies, procedures, and frameworks to align with AMF regulations and other applicable laws.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to regulatory bodies, including the AMF, and respond to inquiries as needed.
- Develop and deliver compliance training programs to promote awareness and understanding among employees.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in regulatory compliance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in law, finance, business administration, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in regulatory compliance within the financial services industry.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of AMF regulations and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements.
- Experience developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to identify and address potential compliance risks.
- Fluency in English and French is required.
